Fabricio Andrade is gearing up for his big ONE bantamweight world championship rematch against former titleholder John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 7 in February.

Staying busy at Tiger Muay Thai, ‘Wonder Boy’ revealed in an interview with ONE Championship that newly crowned two-division world champion Anatoly Malykhin has returned to the gym:

“Anatoly is always here [in Tiger Muay Thai], I don’t think he’s training at the moment. He’s still enjoying his big win, you know, but he’s always in the gym. He’s always supporting his fighters and stuff you know. But a lot of people here in the moment, it’s busy. It’s a good time to be here as well, it’s good to back.”

Malykhin is still in celebration mode after scoring the biggest win of his career in the ONE on Prime Video 5 main event in December. Already the promotion’s interim heavyweight world champion, Malykhin stepped down in weight to take on undefeated Dutchman Reinier de Ridder. With both of their ‘O’s’ on the line, Malykhin delivered a performance worthy of being named the ONE Championship Fighter of the Year.

Effectively shutting down de Ridder’s grappling game in the opening round, Malykhin unloaded a series of bombs, finally landing “the big kabosh” as Michael Schiavello would say, with less than a minute to go in the first.

Fabricio Andrade already looking ahead to his first fight after John Lineker rematch

Fabricio Andrade’s next outing inside the circle will be a rematch with John Lineker on February 10 at ONE on Prime Video 7. The two previously met in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 3 in October, but an ill-placed knee by Fabricio Andrade ended things early, leaving the fans without a resolution and the promotion without a bantamweight world champion.

Going into the highly-anticipated rematch, Fabricio Andrade is more than confident that he will leave the circle as the new bantamweight king. In fact, he’s so confident, he’s already looking beyond Lineker and eyeing the first man to challenge him for the title. That man being Team Lakay standout Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman:

“I think he [Loman] deserves to fight for the belt. He's a guy I've been talking about for a long time. He was champion of another event before joining ONE. He's a guy who has a good record and comes from good wins at ONE. I don't think he's the toughest opponent in the division, I don't think he's shown anything I haven't seen before, but he's next in line. And I'll be very happy to knock him out too.”
