Just two weeks removed from his shocking no-contest against John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade revealed on Instagram that he already has another fight lined up.
He wrote in the caption of his latest post:
“I got a name and date, let’s get to work! #uncrowedchampion #batamweightking”

Unfortunately, fans were left to guess who ‘Wonder Boy’ will be facing in his short turnaround. Nevertheless, fans were excited to hear that they won’t have to wait long to see Andrade return to the Circle:
“Already?!?! Wow!!! 😳“
“Doesn’t matter who.#AndNEW 🚀🤙🏽🏆“
“Wow, that's quick, Let's Go Champ 🔥🔥🔥“
“Most active fighter in the game #uncrownedchamp“
“🔥🔥🔥🔥 can’t stop won’t stop !! The true champion ! Andrade is the best striker in the game“
Considering the injuries that ‘Hands of Stone’ sustained in their main event clash on Prime Video, it would seem highly unlikely that John Lineker will be ready, let alone cleared to fight, by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, a high-profile bantamweight fight between Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman and former bantamweight world champion, Bibiano Fernandes, is set to take place at ONE on Prime Video 4 later this month. Since 'Wonder Boy' already has a name on his contract, it's unlikely that he'll be waiting for the winner of this matchup for his next bout.
Regardless of who it is against, Fabricio Andrade will most definitely deliver another exciting match.
Fabricio Andrade still wants his rematch with John Lineker
Despite Fabricio Andrade being more than willing to call himself the uncrowned king of the bantamweight division, ‘Wonder Boy’ is fully aware that John Lineker is still the No.1 guy in the division despite vacating the title following a botched weight cut ahead of their ONE on Prime Video 3 main event.
In an interview with South China Morning Post, Andrade shared his frustration over their no-contest in October but hopes that the two will meet once again in the near future as Andrade still recognizes ‘Hands of Stone’ as the best man in the stacked bantamweight division.
"After everything happened the way it happened, it was very frustrating for me because I mentalized having the belt for a long time. Now, after everything, the rematch makes sense. It’s the fight that people want to see. He’s still the best guy in the division. I hope if we rematch soon, I hope he makes weight first and we can fight again."
While right now it appears that Fabricio Andrade will move on from his rivalry with Lineker, the two warriors are sure to meet again to settle things once and for all.
