Rising superstar Fabricio Andrade has never been shy in voicing his self-confidence—and he claims to have a champion's mindset heading into his rematch with John Lineker.
The 25-year-old top contender has been near flawless since signing with ONE Championship in 2020. He rode a five-fight winning streak into his first meeting with Lineker. A no-contest is the lone blemish on his record inside the circle.
Fabricio Andrade is proving to be one of the world's top bantamweights, which he hopes to affirm with a victory over Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
"In my previous fights you saw a hungry fighter that wants to be the champion, this fight you gonna see the champion defending his throne! 👑 @johnlinekermma see you soon"

Andrade has been incredibly dedicated to securing the bantamweight world title since debuting on the global stage. He almost achieved his goal last October, and he's even hungrier to finish the job this time around.
Danny Kingad warns Fabricio Andrade of the possibility of landing another low-blow in his rematch with Lineker
No. 3 ranked flyweight contender Danny Kingad has studied 'Wonder Boy' closely since he entered the promotion—and he thinks another groin strike could occur if he isn't more precise with his knees. He told The MMA Superfan:
“As for Fabricio Andrade, I think he really won that first fight but we all saw what happened. He needs to be careful with that knee in this rematch, because it does tend to stray a little low sometimes. Obviously, he has the power to end the fight early, but he needs to manage his distance and his timing."
Prior to the illegal groin strike in their first meeting, Andrade was controlling the pace of the fight with his elite stand-up game. Expect Lineker to come into the rematch with a couple of adjustments to counter Andrade's length advantage.
Andrade has been sharpening his skills at Tiger Muay Thai, not far from where he'll be rematching Lineker, which could provide him with a little extra edge.
Make sure to watch the highly-anticipated bantamweight world title rematch between Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24.
