Fabricio Andrade plans to present his ONE Fight Night 7 opponent with a special gift ahead of their highly anticipated clash on Friday night.
On February 24, ‘Wonder Boy’ will meet former ONE bantamweight world champion John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker with the vacant ONE world title on the line in the evening’s main event. The bout will come four months removed from their first meeting, which ended in an anticlimactic no-contest after an ill-placed knee by Andrade destroyed Lineker’s protective gear below the belt.
To avoid a potential repeat incident, Andrade is looking to gift his opponent a reinforced steel cup to protect his nether region from another devastating knee strike. Taking to Instagram, ‘Wonder Boy’ posted a short video clip with the caption:
“There will not be any way out!! #onefightnight7 #bangkok🇹🇭 #andnew”

Their first meeting was an incredibly entertaining affair despite the unfortunate finish. Through three and a half rounds, Andrade appeared to have the advantage and narrowly escaped with the ONE world title after landing a massive knee to the midsection of Lineker. It was then that Andrade got a little overzealous and threw a follow-up knee that landed on the peninsula south of the equator.

Fabricio Andrade expects a different John Lineker in their rematch
Fabricio Andrade is confident in his ability to handle anything John Lineker throws at him, but ‘Wonder Boy’ is expecting a much improved ‘Hands of Stone’ in their ONE Fight Night 7 rematch.
"I've seen everything from him, but I don't think it would be the same performance,” Andrade said. “I think it'll be a much better performance in this fight."
Lineker will undoubtedly make some changes to his game plan after struggling to put his high-powered offense to work in their first meeting. One thing that will not change is the former champion’s intention of ending things in spectacular fashion on Friday night. Speaking to the promotion, Lineker said:
“As always, I will look for the knockout. This time will be no different. I just need one punch to win the fight.”
Will John Lineker reclaim the ONE bantamweight world championship at ONE Fight Night 7 or will Fabricio Andrade finally feel the weight of 26.4 pounds of ONE gold wrapped around his waist?
