Sage Northcutt aiming to finish Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10
The 27-year-old is hoping to make a splash in his return to action at ONE Fight Night 10. Sage Northcutt told the promotion that he plans to earn a finish, saying:
“Whether it’s a submission, whether it’s ground-and-pound, or it’s a knockout, whatever it is, everybody wants a finish. That would be the ideal way to win, but you know I’m training for any aspect out there, so that way I’m prepared.”
'Super' Sage is well-accustomed to scoring finishes, as eight of his 11 professional wins have come by way of stoppage. That includes finishes in the UFC over Francisco Treviño, Cody Pfister, and Zak Ottow.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Mujtaba is 4-2 inside the Circle with wins over Benedict Ang, Kaiwen Li, Rahul Raju, and most recently, Abraão Amorim. He'll serve as a stiff test for Northcutt in his return.
Be sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5 to watch the return of Sage Northcutt as he takes on Pakistan's Ahmed Mujtaba, live from a sold-out 1stBank Center in Colorado.
All of the action will be broadcast live and for free across North America to Amazon Prime subscribers.
