The White Collar Bouts (WCB) Bangalore 2012 is designed for working professionals who want to stay fit, train and work out like a professional in Mixed Martial Arts. This line up consists of three bouts of boxing and five competitor bouts of Muay Thai for 16 working professionals who have been trained for the past 8 weeks, fighting it out. It will also feature two pro-fights of live Boxing and Muay Thai to be fought by both International and Indian Fighters.
With the fitness facilities mushrooming in the city these days, gyms offering Boxing, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts are a rare sight. The 16 contestants selected for Final Fight of WCB Bangalore 2012 include: Chris -Goldman Sachs; Xerxes- Red Fork, Chef; Varun- Olive, Chef; Murali-Dell; Maude-FFC; Vivek- Skyye, corporate-Chef; Rajesh-Entrepreneur; Sandeep-Dell; Sufyan-K&S and Tanviya. With a total of 16 fighters, they will train for 8 weeks for the main event. True to any international bout, one week prior to the event, (9th December, 2012) the competitors will be weighed-in to match their fight cards. All the competitors are members of Fitness Fight Club (FFC). FFC helps members reach their goals by methods that are unique to Boxing, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Speed, Strength and Mobility Training.
On 15th December 2012, at Lalit Ashok, Bangalore, the sixteen white collar competitors will battle it out. The fight is set up over a six course gourmet meal and drinks. With the goal of bringing an evening of sports entertainment unlike any other to India, WCB Bangalore will also feature an auction of sports memorabilia, autographed by prominent sports-persons from boxing, cricket, golf, F1 racing and more. There will be cultural performances of fusion arts such as a South Indian drum ensemble as well as a mélange of martial and dance arts. The dress code is Black-Tie and entry is by invitation only. WCB Bangalore 2012 is yet another event that is going to place India in the international fight map for white collars.
