George Kambosos Jr. is one of those top-tier names in the boxing world since making his professional debut in 2013. And with over a decade of expertise in the sport, Kambosos Jr. currently boasts a record of 21 wins and 2 losses in boxing. He also holds 10 wins via knockout and 11 via decision. Moreover, the only two losses also was a result of the decision by the judges against the former champion, Devin Haney.

The Australian boxer became the WBA(Super), IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight champion for the first time on November 27, 2021. He fought Teofimo Lopez for the titles and won the bout via a split decision post the twelve-rounder at the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York, United States.

However, he lost the titles in a defense matchup against the former champion Devin Haney on June 5, 2022, via a unanimous decision. Kambosos Jr. also lost in a rematch to acquire the titles from Haney on October 16, 2022. Hence, suffered two consecutive losses in his career. Nonetheless, George Kambosos Jr. bounced back from his losses in his last fight and became the IBO lightweight champion. And therefore, fans are eagerly waiting for ‘The Emperor’ to make his return to the ring.
