Giga Chikadze is a dynamic striker from Georgia who was born on August 25, 1988, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Chikadze moved from a high-profile kickboxing career, amassing an impressive record of 38-6, to the sport of MMA. He fights out of Kings MMA and uses both a karate and kickboxing style in his striking. Chikadze made his UFC debut on September 28, 2019, defeating Brandon Davis via split decision at UFC Fight Night 160. From there, he went on to defeat notables such as Cub Swanson, Edson Barboza, and Alex Caceres.

The win over Swanson was achieved with a body kick in the first round, while he TKO'd Barboza in the third, both of which earned him Performance of the Night bonuses. He has shown his resilience since the setback against Calvin Kattar in January 2022, where he lost via unanimous decision in what was a Fight of the Night performance. He then proceeded to bounce back this past August by taking a unanimous decision from Alex Caceres.
