Grant Dawson is an American professional mixed martial arts competitor who as of October 2024, competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was born on February 20, 1994, in Cambria, Wisconsin, in the United States. Dawson had an impressive run during his amateur run, where he fought in nine fights and won eight of them. He made his professional MMA debut in 2014 and went on to amass a professional record of 11 victories and 1 loss before taking part in Dana White’s Contender Series.

Grant Dawson earned the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract on August 17, 2017. He squared off with Adrian Diaz in the first season of Dana White’s Contender Series 6 and defeated him in the second round via submission on August 17, 2017. Dawson made his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut on March 9, 2019, at UFC Fight Night: Louis vs. Dos Santos against Julian Erosa and secured a victory via unanimous decision.
