Grant Dawson’s Career in the UFC

Grant Dawson entered the UFC on March 9, 2019, with a victory over Julian Erosa via unanimous decision. He continued his success with a rear-naked choke win against Michael Trizano on May 18, 2019, earning the Performance of the Night award.

In early 2020, a USADA issue led to the cancellation of his fight with Chas Skelly at UFC 246, but it was rescheduled for February 29, 2020, where Dawson defeated Darrick Minner via submission, albeit missing weight. Dawson secured another win in July 2020 against Nad Narimani via unanimous decision. On March 20, 2021, he knocked out Leonardo Santos in round three, earning another Performance of the Night bonus.

In 2021, Dawson faced Rick Glenn, resulting in a majority draw, and then defeated Jared Gordon in April 2022 via rear-naked choke. He later faced Mark Madsen in November 2022, winning by rear-naked choke in the 3rd round.

In his most recent bout on July 1, 2023, Dawson won via unanimous decision against Damir Ismagulov.
