Dana White is known for his support for former United States President Donald Trump. However, back in 2010, he spoke highly of the latter's fiercest political rival, Joe Biden. At the time, though, Trump and Biden didn't dominate the American political sphere as they do now.
Ahead of UFC 121, headlined by Brock Lesnar's failed defense of his heavyweight title against Cain Velasquez, the then-UFC president spoke about turning up at a Democratic rally. At that rally, he crossed paths with Joe Biden, who was serving as the United States vice president in the Barack Obama administration.
Notably, White had nothing but positive things to say about meeting Biden, saying as much in an interview with renowned combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani.
"It was cool. Actually, he was a very nice guy. He was fun to hang out with and I had a good time. I was honored."

When asked if it was possible to coax Biden to attend a UFC event, though, White quickly dismissed it due to the former's schedule.
"I don't know. He's pretty busy."

It marked an interesting situation, as while Biden and Trump's feud was nothing of note at the time, the latter did have issues with Obama, frequently accusing him of not being an American citizen. The demand to view Obama's birth certificate became the crutch of Trump's criticism of the former.
Dana White would welcome Joe Biden to a UFC event
Donald Trump has attended several UFC events in recent memory and has been treated with the respect befitting a former United States president. UFC CEO Dana White revealed that if any other president, former or current, turned up to the UFC, he would treat them with a similar level of respect, even Joe Biden.
He said as much during a Q&A with Yahoo! Sports.
"It's true when we [with Donald Trump] do come out, but you see the way the crowd reacts to it? It's off the charts. Now, if [Joe] Biden came to a UFC event, I would treat Biden the same way."
