The UFC Hall of Fame honors mixed martial artists and MMA personalities for their contributions to the Ultimate Fighting Championship over time. The UFC Hall of Fame, which was established in 2003, also acknowledges accomplishments from Pride Fighting Championships, World Extreme Cagefighting, and Strikeforce, all of which were purchased by the UFC and its parent organizations.
The UFC Hall of Fame was officially founded on November 21, 2003, at UFC 45 in Las Vegas, with the first inductees being inaugural UFC participants Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock. Since 2015, the Hall of Fame ceremony has taken place during UFC International Fight Week in Las Vegas. There have been 51 inductees to date, including three double inductees under four wings - pioneers, modern, contributors, and fight - which were established in 2015 as part of a Hall of Fame relaunch thanks to former UFC executive Anthony Evans' relentless push to president Dana White.
