Alexandre Pantoja Passidomo, known as “The Cannibal” is the flyweight champion in the UFC. He is currently ranked #11 in the pound-for-pound rankings for men in the promotion. Hailing from Arraial Do Cabo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pantoja started his MMA journey with The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions in 2016 as a member of Team Cejudo. However, he lost in the semifinals to Hiromasa Ougikubo.

His debut in the UFC happened at UFC on Fox: Shevchenko vs Pena on January 28, 2017, where he defeated Eric Shelton via split decision in Round 3. Pantoja is the current UFC Flyweight Champion. Furthermore, he has also earned Fight of the Night twice and Performance of the Night thrice in his career so far. Having an MMA record of 28-5-0 in his career so far, he won 28 fights (8 by KO/TKO, 10 by submission, and 10 by decision). He lost all 5 fights by decision. He defended his title against Steve Erceg at UFC 301 on May 4, 2024.
