Lopes is a former featherweight champion of the LUX Fight League, Xtreme Fighting League (XFL), and JFL, as well as a former bantamweight champion of Brazil's Evolution Fight Night (EFN). Lopes’ MMA career began at the age of 17 in his home Amazonas, encouraged by his father and brother's engagement in the sport. Lopes made his UFC debut on May 6, 2023, at UFC 288: Sterling vs. Cejudo, but was defeated by Movsar Evloev via unanimous decision.
