Sean Strickland is no fan of Ronda Rousey. In fact, he unloaded vicious criticism of her on an Oct. 12, 2022 appearance on Brendan Schaub's Food Truck Diaries.
He specifically abhors the manner in which she handled her lopsided loss to Holly Holm, who knocked her out in round two of the UFC 193 main event. Afterward, Rousey, whose self-worth hinged on her perceived invincibility as a fighter, contemplated suicide, which Strickland disapproved of.
"Let me tell you why I hate Ronda Rousey. So Ronda Rousey goes on Ellen DeGeneres, who is a known c**t, by the way. Just, that should seem clear. And she says after her loss she thought about committing suicide, and after that I was like, 'You are the weakest f***ing human being I have ever met or I have ever heard speak.' And after that I hated her. Like, mental f***ing midget."

Rousey's loss to Holm signaled her downfall in the sport, as she vanished from public sight for about a year, before returning to face then women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. Ahead of the bout, 'Rowdy' took part in a few interviews, all under the condition that she not be asked about her loss to Holm.
Unfortunately for her, she was TKO'd in dominant fashion by Nunes and ultimately retired from MMA.
Other UFC fighters have criticized Ronda Rousey for reasons different from Sean Strickland's
Sean Strickland isn't the only UFC fighter to disapprove of Ronda Rousey. While the former middleweight champion took aim at Rousey's mental fortitude or lack thereof, reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion Julianna Peña criticized her for pursuing professional wrestling.
During her sitdown with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour in 2022, 'The Venezuelan Vixen' was asked if she thought Rousey would ever return, and her answer was less than flattering.
"No, she's kind of a joke in the MMA world now because she's a, what is the word? Sellout. She's a little bit of a sellout there. I mean, I guess I understand, right? It's like pro-wrestling, it's fake, you get paid millions of dollars, I get it. But, like, for me, for the real sh*t, like you're the real deal, I would say that that's in the UFC."

Rousey, though, found great success in the WWE, but has since left the promotion, with no signs of returning.
