Conor McGregor staged a dramatic scene in response to Joe Rogan's comments about the Khabub Nurmagomedov fight.
McGregor made his acting debut with the movie Road House, which was released in 2024. The Irishman stated that acting was more challenging than fighting because, in addition to performing stunts and action scenes, it required various skills such as memorizing the lines and timing the interactions with co-actors.
During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that aired on March 20, 2024, Rogan dismissed McGregor's comparison, saying:
"That's not true, even for him. Okay, act in the Road House or fight Khabib again. Shut the f*** up. That's crazy talk. He broke his f***ing leg in a fight. He broke his leg. That's harder. That's way harder than f***ing acting."

In response, McGregor posted a picture of himself pointing a gun at the back of a brown bear's head. The post read:
"Hey @joerogan I kidnapped Khabib's bear and put it in a tootoo and shot it in the back of the head and he still won't come back."

McGregor's remarks about the bear refer to an old video of Nurmagomedov, in which he is seen wrestling with a brown bear as a child.
For the uninitiated, Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor at UFC 229 in October 2018 to retain the lightweight title. The build-up to their fight was marked by serious allegations and controversial remarks concerning sensitive topics such as religion and nationalities. Although McGregor aggressively campaigned for the rematch, the Dagestani fighter refused to engage with him, ultimately retiring from competition in 2020.
Khabib Nurmagomedov reignited rivalry with Conor McGregor by comparing MMA fighters from Ireland and Dagestan
Since retiring from competitive MMA, Khabib Nurmagomedov has focused on coaching. The Dagestani fighter has played a crucial role in shaping the careers of his teammates Islam Makhachev, Usman Nurmagomedov, and Umar Nurmagomedov.
Recently, while sharing his thoughts on the Dagestan vs. Ireland debate in light of Usman Nurmagomedov's upcoming fight against Ireland's Paul Huges, Khabib said:
"Brothers, Ireland don't have fighters, brother. Let's be honest. How many fighters do you know from Ireland? Paul Hughes and Conor McGregor, and who else?"
He added:
"You come to Dagestan, and you can understand. You know so many organizations, they don't even sign Dagestan fighters because they worry about, like, everybody can become champion... Let's be honest, Dagestan level of MMA is here [higher] but Ireland level, not even half of Dagestan level."
