Karen Alexa Grasso Montes is an MMA fighter from Mexico. She participates in the women’s flyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Now, she is no. 1 in the pound-for-pound rankings for women in the UFC.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, on August 9, 1993, Alexa Grasso started her MMA career in Mexico. Her arrival at the UFC happened at UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Ferguson on November 5, 2016. At that event, she faced Heather Clark, whom she defeated by unanimous decision in Round 3. As of September 6, 2024, she is the reigning UFC women’s flyweight champion. Grasso is the first woman from Mexico to be a UFC champion. Besides this, she has also won Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night once till now in the UFC. Prior to the UFC, she competed at Invicta FC. There, she also won the Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night once.
