'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade is heading into a showdown against the seasoned 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker. With so many matches under his opponent's belt and training day in and day out, Andrade believes the lifestyle is beginning to wear on Lineker.
While speaking in an interview with SCMP MMA, the Brazilian striker discussed this point of view:
"I'm doing all this restrictive stuff every single day. And eventually, it gets tiring. Definitely, it has an effect, because he's been fighting for a long time."

Fabricio Andrade battled John Lineker near the end of 2022. The 25-year-old Brazilian feels that he nearly had the ONE bantamweight world title in his hands. Due to an inadvertent groin strike from Andrade, the fight was called off as a no-contest. Now the two strikers are going to run it back.
'Wonder Boy' and John Lineker are booked to battle for the vacant bantamweight crown for a second time. The title rematch between the knockout strikers will be the main event of ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, which will go down on February 24 at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
All the action will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.
Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker seeking the knockout win
Both Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker want to walk away with the ONE bantamweight world title, and both want to win it via knockout. The two Brazilian strikers have won the majority of their fights by way of KO/TKO.
Fabricio Andrade told SCMP MMA in the same interview:
“This fight will end in a maximum of two rounds. And it will definitely end with me knocking out John Lineker one more time... He knows I’m better than him. His chance of winning this fight is if something extraordinary happens. But we know that I’m the best athlete, that this is my moment, and that I’m going to be the champion.”
Meanwhile, John Lineker spoke to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview and outlined that he intends to use his usual game plan which is to let his hands go. But this time, he's found more effective ways to close the distance and land bombs. 'Hands of Stone' said:
“The strategy won't change much, but I'm improving a few things. I've been working on footwork, how to better move my head, and how to better shorten the distance during the fight. I'm going to keep practically the same game, only more evolved.”
