Stamp Fairtex has all her bases covered ahead of her explosive mixed-rules superfight at ONE on Fight Night 6.
The ONE atomweight contender is headed towards her first battle of the year with an insatiable urge to win. She faces decorated kickboxer and Muay Thai striker Anissa Meksen this Friday, January 13 (US primetime) to determine who’s the superior athlete.
Over the past few weeks, both women have trained to the bone to make sure they’ve covered all their bases before their faceoff.
For her part, Stamp Fairtex revealed how different her training camp is when she’s focused on two sports at the same time.

She told Calf Kick Sports:
“It has been heavy training for me both in MMA and also Muay Thai. For Muay Thai, I have been focusing on techniques, and for MMA I have been preparing takedowns.”
It would have been a strange adjustment for Stamp to return to training in Muay Thai after competing in MMA for the last three years. During that time, the Pattaya native climbed her way up to the No.1 contender spot, impressing fans along the way with her grappling and striking prowess.
However, Stamp has a long history with Muay Thai, which will give her an advantage over her rival, who has never competed professionally in MMA. Before Stamp was signed to the promotion, she was a highly experienced Muay Thai striker with over 80 matches to her name. In addition to her impressive resume, she’s also a former two-sport world champion in both kickboxing and Muay Thai under the ONE banner.
A force to be reckoned with, Stamp is confident she’ll dust off the cobwebs in time and show Anissa Meksen what the hype is all about.

Stamp Fairtex says she’s happy to give a show to her people in Thailand despite pressure to succeed
Stamp Fairtex is happy to be performing in her own backyard in Thailand. At the same time, she also feels individual pressure to succeed and not disappoint her fans.
It’s been two years since the 25-year-old star last performed in Bangkok. Back in August 2020, Stamp surrendered her Muay Thai belt to Brazilian rising star Allycia Hellen Rodrigues by majority decision.
Although it wasn’t the best memory to leave her fans with, she’s grateful for the opportunity to redeem herself.
In an exclusive interview with ONE, she said:
“I feel really pressured, but also very happy at the same time. I’m happy because I will fight in front of my family, teammates, and Thai fans. On the other hand, it’s a pressure on my shoulders because I have to fight with a very strong opponent. But I feel like this pressure is positive for me, because it makes me eager to win.”
