"It's wild having a man like that alive!" - When Joe Rogan was stunned on live TV by Jon Jones' out-of-the-world cage-side conversation with Elon Musk

Joe Rogan is a prominent name in the world of MMA and has been known for delivering several memorable moments while performing his duties as a commentator at UFC events. One such instance took place at UFC 309 which was headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Moicic. The event was held on November 16 at the prestigious Madison Square Garden in New York.

Jones put on a masterclass of a performance and finished Miocic via TKO in the third round of the fight. After the contest, 'Bones' stepped out of the octagon to celebrate his victory. He interacted with several celebrities who were present in the audience including tech-billionaire Elon Musk and current President-elect Donald Trump.

Watching the interaction between Jones and Musk, Rogan jokingly shared that the heavyweight king was dicsussing the possibility of hosting a UFC event on Mars.

"[Jon Jones] is talking to Elon Musk about fighting on Mars... It's wild having a man like that alive."

After UFC 309, many MMA fans want to see Jones share the octagon with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. Rogan also discussed the matchup on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.

Rogan stated that although he did not consider Jones to be a 'real heavyweight', the UFC commentator still found it difficult to pick against 'Bones'.

"Jon is not a real heavyweight. Jon could make light heavyweight, 100 percent. He weighs 230 pounds right now, maybe a little less than 230 pounds. Look, he always had the reputation of f**king all the heavyweights... When Brendan [Schaub] went down and trained with him... Brendan was a heavyweight [and he] was like,'He f**ked me up.'... All the other heavyweights, he rag-dolled them too. he's just a freak."
