Born on September 10, 1996, Jack Della Maddalena is an Australian mixed martial artist who is currently active in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His current standing in the UFC welterweight rankings is #11.

Jack Della Maddalena's journey in combat sports began at the age of 8 when he took up rugby. He continued to pursue rugby throughout his middle and high school years. At 14, inspired by his brother Josh, he started training at a boxing gym to enhance his fitness for rugby.

As time passed, Della Maddalena's enthusiasm shifted towards boxing. Following the conclusion of his rugby career, he committed himself to full-time training in mixed martial arts. He attended St. Kevin’s College in Melbourne and Aquinas College in Perth.

In the early stages of his professional fighting career, on March 12, 2016, Della Maddalena experienced a setback with a loss to Aldin Bates. His next match also ended in defeat, this time against Darcy Vendy in the first round. However, he rebounded impressively, securing nine consecutive victories. This remarkable run led to him being crowned the Eternal Welterweight Champion, a title he defended successfully on four occasions.

On September 14, 2021, a pivotal opportunity presented itself when Della Maddalena faced off against Ange Loosa at Dana White’s Contender Series 39. He emerged victorious via unanimous decision, subsequently earning a contract with the UFC.
