Jairzinho Rozenstruik's Last Fight

Jairzinho Rozenstruik locked horns with Shamil Gaziev in his most recent outing to the octagon. The heavyweight UFC fighters met each other at UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Gaziev on March 2, 2024, in a heavyweight showdown. In the bout, Rozenstruik weathered Gaziev's early aggressive but reckless attacks. From round two onwards, Rozenstruik took control with effective jabs, body punches, and leg kicks, outworking Gaziev. Gaziev's takedown attempts and striking deteriorated as the fight progressed. Referee Mark Goddard stopped the fight in round five due to concerns about Gaziev's ability to continue, declaring Rozenstruik the winner by TKO.
