Jake Paul is a household name owing to the multiple capes he has won in a short period of time. The internet personality, YouTuber, vlogger, and actor turned professional boxer has witnessed a meteoric rise as a star who commands a considerable following. Paul initially took off as an influencer and a vlogger; however, later he picked up combat sports and started fighting with veteran professional mixed martial artists inside a professional boxing ring. Despite being associated with the entertainment aspect of the internet, all it took Jake Paul was one amateur fight to make his way into the professional boxing circuit. Having fought and won against major names in combat sports like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz, Paul has turned out to be a huge draw in the fight business.

In 2024, it was announced that Jake Paul would face boxing icon Mike Tyson on July 20, 2024, however, Mike Tyson’s health issues delayed the fight to November 15, 2024. Tyson’s absence from the July 20, 2024 bout allowed Jake Paul to fight against the former UFC mixed martial artist and BKFC fighter Mike Perry on July 20, 2024, in an 8-round cruiserweight showdown. Paul won this showdown via a TKO in the 6th round.
