Jamaine Ortiz is an American boxer who has been an active competitor inside the squared circle since 2016. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, Ortiz grew up there in his initial years. Alongside his studies and working as a carpenter, Jamaine Ortiz has been interested in combat sports since his childhood, and after his stint as an amateur fighter, he picked up professional boxing and pursued it as a career.

Jamaine Ortiz began training in boxing at a very young age. He performed impressively well as an amateur, and stepping up the ladder of progress towards becoming a professional, he outclassed the undefeated Ricardo Quiroz. In his first professional boxing bout, he faced Josh Parker on May 13, 2016, and won by RTD in the first round.

Jamaine Ortiz amassed an incredible 14-fight winning streak before encountering the first draw of his professional career. Ortiz locked horns with Joseph Adorno on April 24, 2021, in a bout that was scheduled for eight rounds. The fight was ruled a majority draw.

Continuing his momentum from where he had left off in his fifteenth showing inside the squared circle, Ortiz won his next two fights in succession by unanimous decisions. In his eighteenth bout, he squared off against Vasiliy Lomachencko on October 29, 2024. Ortiz came up short and lost by a unanimous decision.
