Jamaine Ortiz is an American professional boxer who has been competing as a professional boxer since 2016. He has been drawn towards combat sports ever since he was a child. Ortiz started training in boxing under the tutelage of Carlos Garcia.

Jamaine Ortiz, after receiving training, started as an amateur boxer, where he showed signs of a promising professional boxer. Due to the prevailing uncertainty around his personal life, Ortiz had to work as a carpenter to support himself until 2016, when he finally decided to explore his career in professional boxing.

Jamaine Ortiz squared off with undefeated Ricardo Quiroz to qualify as a professional and defeat him. Quiroz was never defeated prior to meeting Ortiz inside the squared circle. Jamaine took off to a winning start as a professional when he defeated Josh Parker in his debut showdown on May 13, 2016.

Ortiz kept piling consecutive victories to his name and has just suffered one loss as a professional boxer. As of February 2024, Vasiliy Lomachencko is the only rival who defeated Ortiz via a unanimous decision on October 29, 2022. Jamaine Ortiz currently boasts a professional record of 17 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no-contest.
