Turkey's 'Yeniceri' Jamal Yusupov will be looking to take the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title off Tawanchai PK.Saenchai. The two are booked for battle on February 24 at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

At 39 years old, Yusupov has 16 years on his opponent. He recently discussed the age difference in his pre-fight interview with ONE Championship:

"From my perspective, I didn't really feel any difference. I'm very prepared, and I came here to Thailand as well to prepare. So for me, I'm actually comfortable with that."

Yusupov is in for the biggest fight of his life as he takes on ONE featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK.Saenchai. The two Muay Thai experts will battle for the featherweight throne at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. All the action from this Friday's card will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video to all Amazon subscribers across North America.

Jamal Yusupov aiming for a knockout win at ONE Fight Night 7

It may be the most challenging fight of his career, but Jamal Yusupov is confident that he can still walk away with the victory and the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title by way of knockout.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the Turkish fighter explained:

“I think the fight will end early. I am ready for five tough rounds, but I’ll try to win early by knockout.”

Furthermore, Jamal Yusupov is confident his hands will make all the difference:

“He is a young, tough opponent. I can point out that he is quick on his feet, and he works very well with his legs. My advantage is my boxing. Even Tawanchai himself pointed it out. He said I have good boxing. I have always been saying that boxing is my advantage, and I will prove it.”

With a slew of knockout victories in his career, the Turkish striker poses a unique threat to Tawanchai's world title. The dangerous challenger concluded by stating that he is coming off a good camp and is prepared both mentally and physically.
