He fought in multiple professional mixed martial arts promotions before making his promotional debut in the UFC.

After winning Dana White's Contender Series: Season 7, Week 6 on September 13, 2023, by beating Malik Lewis, Llontop made his promotional debut for the promotion on April 28, 2024, against Chris Padilla.
