'JT' Janet Todd is a US-born athlete who rarely gets to perform for her home-nation fans. Todd is hoping that ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video in May will allow more people in the USA to enjoy what the promotion offers.
Janet Todd is the current reigning ONE atomweight kickboxing world champion and recently captured the ONE interim atomweight Muay Thai world title. She will soon look to drop the interim tag on her Muay Thai belt when she faces the division’s queen, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, in a world title unification match.
American world titleholder 'JT' will battle Brazil's Allycia Hellen Rodrigues on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. All ONE Fight Night events are broadcast live and for free in North America via Prime Video.
ONE Championship boasts Muay Thai bouts in four-ounce gloves, which Janet Todd hopes the Americans will watch due to how action-packed these matches are. Additionally, ONE Championship also offers submission grappling, MMA, and kickboxing. In an interview with ONE Championship, 'JT' explained:

"I hope that gets the American crowd more excited about ONE Championship. You get to watch pure stand up in four-ounce gloves. What can't you not love about that? I hope that gets the American fans more excited and we increase our fan base over here."
Janet Todd aims to inspire in her match against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues
'JT' currently holds the kickboxing crown and an interim Muay Thai world title. Her aim in combat sports is to inspire women worldwide, including in her home of the USA. In an interview with ONE Championship, she explained:
"Because compared to the men, there’s not as many women competing. ONE Championship is a great platform, but I hope the sport continues to grow through some of these major promotions like ONE Championship. And, yeah, I hope people get inspired to compete. If I can do it, you can do it.”
The USA will soon get to see ONE Championship up close. The organization will soon host its first on-site event on May 5 at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. This historic night will be hosted at the 1stBank Arena in Broomfield, Colorado. It will feature Muay Thai in four-ounce gloves, as well as MMA, kickboxing, and submission grappling.
