Janet Todd tells women: "If I can do it, you can do it"
Todd is hoping to accomplish her own personal goals in combat sports while also inspiring people along the way. She shared a message for women who are in the fight game while speaking with ONE Championship:
“Yeah, I hope people can see what I do and say, 'yeah, I can do that.' Or even say, 'yeah, I could do that better. I could be the next champion.' This helps the sport grow because compared to men, there's not as many women competing.”
Todd is readying to face Rodrigues. The latter attained the women's atomweight Muay Thai world title back in 2020 when she edged out Stamp Fairtex by majority decision.
Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 8 on March 25 to see Janet Todd square off against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The action will be broadcast for free to North American Amazon Prime subscribers.
