Jennifer Maia is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter who is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She fights in the women’s featherweight division of the promotion. Maia was born in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil on OCtober 6, 1988.

An acclaimed martial artist, Jennifer Maia made her debut in mixed martial arts against Suelen Pinheiro Ribeiro on December 5, 2009 at Brave FC 4: Explosion in Curitiba, Brazil. She won the bout via TKO in the first round of the fight and went on to amass a four match winning streak before encountering a draw against Kalindra Faria at Power Fight Extreme 4 on November 20, 2010 at Curitiba, Brazil. Maia suffered her first professional loss in her MMA career against Vanessa Porto at Kumite MMA Combate on October 28, 2011via second-round submission. She holds a professional mixed martial arts record of 21 wins and 9 losses and 1 draw.

Jennifer Maia also ventured into professional boxing in 2008. She locked horns with Michelle Larissa Bonnasoli inside the squared circle on March 29, 2008 at Centro de Boxe, Curitiba, Parana, Brazil in her debut showdown.
