Jennifer Maia’s Career in the UFC
Maia's journey in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) began in 2018 when she made her debut but suffered a loss against Liz Carmouche in July. In 2019, she rebounded with a victory over Alexis Davis and a rematch win against Roxanne Modafferi. However, her struggles with making weight led to fines in both fights. In November 2019, she faced Katlyn Chookagian but lost via unanimous decision.
In 2020, Maia won impressively against Joanne Calderwood, earning her a Performance of the Night award.
