Jones said that he would rather fight 'Poatan' in a legacy clash than lock heads with Aspinall for an undisputed title bout. During a recent interview with Aaron Bronsteter, 'Bones' said he would even vacate the heavyweight title for the fight:

"It'd be cool to fight over the heavyweight championship, but I would also willingly give up the heavyweight championship... I love the position that I'm in right now. Fighting [Alex] Pereira for the BMF belt, that'd be cool."

As for Aspinall's position as the interim champion, Jones believes that the title fight should not have happened in the first place.

Daniel Cormier shares Stipe Miocic's chink in armor

Daniel Cormier has fought Stipe Miocic three times, winning the first via knockout and losing the next two. He has also fought Jon Jones twice, losing both times. Cormier can be expected to know about the two UFC fighters' fighting styles as well as anyone possibly can.

Speaking from experience, the UFC veteran pointed out a flaw in Miocic's gameplan that Jones could take advantage of in their upcoming heavyweight title fight at UFC 309:

"As Stipe and I would come together, I was finding a lot of success landing punches whenever he would exit [the clinch]. Because when he exits, he tends to leave his left hand low... That is a thing Stipe Miocic cannot do in this fight with Jon Jones because while Jones may not land a punch that can hurt him in that way, there are different weapons he could use -- elbows, spinning back elbows, all of those creative weapons that could be a problem."

Bernie Sanders blasts Democrat stance on Joe Rogan's show

Between certain opinions and his podcast collaborations with President-elect Donald Trump and his allies Elon Musk and J.D. Vance, Joe Rogan isn't a favorite among the Democrats. The UFC commentator had extended an invitation to Kamala Harris as well, but the episode didn't come to fruition after demands from her campaign that Rogan didn't want to fulfill.

Speaking with CNN's Dana Bash on State of the Union, Sen. Bernie Sanders criticized Democrats for shunning the UFC commentator.

"Look, you’re going to have an argument with Rogan, agree with him, disagree with him. But, what’s the problem with going on those shows? It’s hard for me to understand that."

The day before the elections, Rogan had endorsed Trump for the presidential race, which allegedly influenced many voters previously unconvinced to vote for Trump.

However, Trump was not always strictly Republican. He had voiced support for Sanders in 2016 and even had him as a guest on the podcast.
