“Could be the key to victory” - Jonathan Haggerty picks John Lineker vs. Fabricio Andrade winner

John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade's ONE on Prime Video 3 main event has everyone talking. Fans, pundits, and fighters are split over this bantamweight world championship showdown.

Muay Thai expert and former titleholder Jonathan Haggerty offered his thoughts on the October 21 fight in an interview with ONE Championship, during which he explained:

“Andrade. I think his striking is good and could be the key to victory.”

'Hands of Stone' John Lineker is coming off a knockout win over Bibiano Fernandes to secure the title. However, the UK's Haggerty is picking the Tiger Muay Thai-trained Brazilian over his American Top Team counterpart

The 25-year-old is currently on a three-fight win streak, having won all of those bouts via first-round knockouts. 'Wonder Boy' is a dangerous striker who has both speed and power as top strengths.

Former Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty recognizes good striking and sees this in the young Brazilian. In addition to Haggerty, Fabricio Andrade has also impressed a number of other legendary fighters.

All-time MMA great and current ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson is impressed with the ability of Fabricio Andrade.

In an interview with ONE Championship, 'Mighty Mouse' said:

“Fabricio Andrade, he’s f****** good. That fight is going to be sick between him and John Lineker... I really like Andrade. I really, really do. I think it’s the way he comes out and fights. He pushes the pace, he takes risks. I think that fight against John Lineker is going to be a great fight.”

'Wonder Boy' Andrade was unsurprisingly happy to hear these words from such a highly respected athlete. In response, the young Brazilian said:

“It sure makes me very happy. Hearing this from a guy with the experience and the name he has motivates me a lot. It shows that my work is being recognized and motivates me to keep doing what I’m doing.”

Andrade has already impressed his fellow fighters with his quick hands and powerful striking. He will now be looking to capture the ONE bantamweight world championship against John Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3 on October 21.
