Jorge Masvidal is scheduled to return to the octagon against Gilbert Burns at UFC 287 this weekend. 'Gamebred' hasn't fought since UFC 272 last March when he dropped a lopsided unanimous decision against archrival Colby Covington.
Masvidal allegedly attacked 'Chaos' outside a Miami restaurant, barely two weeks removed from their clash, resulting in a still ongoing lawsuit. Hence, fans were somewhat surprised to see the BMF champ sporting a gun on camera during an episode of UFC Embedded.
Claiming to be usually modest about his "pieces", Masvidal said:
"Say hello to my little friend. Usually don't like, you know, showing the pieces off an stuff. But you're in my casa, right? My house. So we'll show you some of the hardware we keep around there. It's not loaded, no worry. But this is just in case anybody gets personal. Bogota!"

Jorge Masvidal might retire if he loses to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287
Jorge Masvidal is undoubtedly one of the biggest UFC superstars in history. According to his manager Malki Kawa, Masvidal's new deal with the UFC, signed last March, also ranks him among the top-three highest paid UFC athletes.
However, stardom aside, Masvidal hasn't exactly flourished in his MMA career of late. 'Gamebred' is currently on a three-fight skid, albeit two of them came in consecutive title fights against Kamaru Usman.
Instead of fighting down the order, the BMF titleholder is now slated to take on yet another elite contender in Gilbert Burns at UFC 287 this weekend. According to the 39-year-old, a loss to 'Durinho' might mean the end of the road for him and a win might mean the exact opposite.
Masvidal recently said in the UFC 287 Countdown:
"This could be the last one. If I lose, I’m pretty much calling it quits. But a win against Gilbert means that things are headed in the right direction. So if I roll the dice and I do everything right, I’m going for it all. For one title, or many titles.”
