The professional mixed martial artist and boxer has a long career in mixed martial arts that spans almost two decades and has headlined eight pay-per-views while competing in the elite professional mixed martial arts promotion, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He made his professional debut in mixed martial arts on August 10, 2004, against Mario Bigola at Eco Fight Championship 1 in Macapa, Brazil. Aldo made quick work of Bigola with a first-round knockout, courtesy of a devastating head kick, and took off with an aggressive win to start his professional career.
