Josh Taylor, aka The Tartan Tornado, was born on January 2, 1991 and is a former undisputed super lightweight champion with IBF, WBA, WBC, WBO and Ring Magazine titles between 2019 and 2023. He was the Commonwealth light-welterweight champion from 2016 to 2017 (regional) during his amateur career. He also won the light-welterweight title in 2014 and a silver medal in the lightweight division at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. His box-am record was 76 bouts, winning 52 and losing 24.
