Roach turned pro with Golden Boy Promotions in 2014 while studying toward a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland. He made his first walk into the squared circle on April 19, 2014, with a unanimous decision victory over Victor Galindo at the D.C. Armory. The Washington native is now scheduled to fight against Gervonta "Tank" Davis on March 1, 2025, at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, New York, United States.
