English Muay Thai contender Liam Harrison is on the road to recovery from his recent knee injury, but that hasn't stopped him from sharing some striking tips.

'Hitman' suffered a torn ACL in his most-recent ONE Championship bout against bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama last August.

Since then, the 37-year-old striker has been posting training tutorials surrounding many different techniques, including how to execute a punch from catching a kick.

Liam Harrison recalls the time he beat a top-ranked Japanese fighter as a teenager

Liam Harrison has been training Muay Thai since the age of 13—and he recently reminisced about the time he defeated a highly-ranked Japanese fighter as a teenager. He said:

“The promoter called Richard and said, ‘look, we’ve got a fight in Japan in four weeks against the Japanese number one. Does Liam wanna do it?’ He said, the Japanese promoters have asked to send a strong fighter who might have a chance of knocking him out.
"Round one and two were close, but I think he was just edging just because of his experience, and round three, I just went like, I’m f*cking, I’m gonna go crazy just trying to knock him out…”

Harrison continued:

“I went out and dropped him, and I think with ten seconds left in that round, I knocked him out. I remember all the Japanese stood up and clapping, and I thought there is no drug like this on earth, and I was addicted to it. I thought this is what I want to do with my life."

Harrison is an eight-time Muay Thai world champ who is yearning for a title under ONE Championship. Since signing with the promotion, 'Hitman' is 3-3 with wins over Mohammed Bin Mahmoud, Brayan Matias, and Muangthai P.K.Saenchai.

The Bad Company Gym affiliate hasn't wavered from his goal despite coming up short in his first title bid. Expect him to come back hungry from his injury.
