Bermudez was on a roll in the 145 division. The 28 year old recorded a signature win over Clay Guida and put on a war against Matt Grice. He also recorded a 7-0 winning streak before losing to Ricardo Lamas last November. This long island native is looking to get back on track against 'Lil Heathen'.
Stephens, on the other hand is aiming a strong comeback to compensate his two consecutive losses in the previous two outings. Stephens dropped back to back decisions to Cub Swanson and Charles Oliveira. In the featherweight division in the UFC, he was 3-0.
UFC 188: Velasquez vs. Werdum – June 13, 2015 – Mexico City Arena
Hector Urbina will look to make a stand against Albert Tuminov at Mexico. ‘El Toro’ made his UFC debut in the same venue last November and he submitted Edgar Garcia inside of the first round.
The 23 year old Tuminov will hope to secure his fourth straight victory in the Octagon. This Russian knockout artist has earned two KO finishes in his UFC career. He last fought against Nico Musoke and saw a unanimous decision in his favour.
