Mikey Musumeci plans to bust a move ahead of his next appearance inside the Circle with a little bit of help from some of the best strikers in the world.
‘Darth Rigatoni’ is scheduled to defend his ONE flyweight submission grappling world championship at ONE Fight Night 10. Emanating from the 1stBank Center in Colorado, the event will serve as ONE Championship’s long-anticipated debut in the United States. As part of the stacked lineup, Musumeci will defend his title against fellow IBJJF world champion, Osamah Almarwai.
Before he steps into the Circle, Musumeci has promised to show off his dance skills during his pre-fight walkout. In an interview with the Jiu-Jitsu Times, Musumeci revealed that he plans to get some dancing advice from fan-favorite Stamp Fairtex and RodtanJitmuangnon, who will be part of the festivities on May 5:
“I’m one of those types of people that cram at the end for finals in college. So that’s more my style – [Stamp] is on this card with me, her, and Rodtang, so I expect both of them to help me to their fullest ability to get the dance done for the show.”

Both fighters, particularly Stamp Fairtex, are known to show off their dance moves before stepping into the cage. It will be interesting to see how the two Thai superstars aid America’s greatest submission specialist on ONE Championship’s makeshift dance floor later this year.
Mikey Musumeci shares a unique receipt with Danielle Kelly
Mikey Musumeci may not be known for his impressive dance skills (yet), but the submission grappling superstar is more than proficient when it comes to submitting opponents and putting together a delicious dish. Musumeci’s love for pasta and pizza is well documented, but every once in a while, the New Jersey native will break out a bowl of rice, according to fellow submission star Danielle Kelly.
Speaking to Game Breakers, Kelly revealed a rather unique recipe that Mikey Musumeci turned her onto that has quickly become her go-to meal:
"He actually got me into rice and chicken but you mix it with sea salt and oil so like it’s my go-to whenever I’m hungry so thank you Mikey," Kelly revealed.
Mikey Musumeci won’t be back in action until May 5, but fans won’t have to wait quite as long to see Danielle Kelly return to the Circle. She returns at ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 against dangerous Japanese mixed martial artist Ayaka Miura. The pair will compete in a catchweight submission grappling bout at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
