Indian MMA sensation Abdul Muneer (6-1) is all set to make an impact at Brave Combat Federation's inaugural mixed martial arts event in Bahrain against former UFC fighter Masio Fullen. Masio "Lobo" Fullen (10-6) is quite a resourceful fighter who has excellent submission skills along with a sound stand-up game. The bout is one of the most anticipated in Mexico and India, being billed as a Hero vs Hero match.
The Mexican Hero had made it clear that he is well aware of his opponent."I know that Abdul is a strong guy, and has a great stand up game. People know that's also my strength. I'm still going to use my boxing even though I've also been working on different aspects of my game. I feel I'm great. To all my fans and friends, all I can say is 'expect lots of punches and a really thrilling fight, he's bringing the Indian style and I will bring the Mexican one," Lobo said.

Abdul Muneer, who humiliated his last opponent from Pakistan in a 48-second knockout, is confident that he will prevail. Muneer responded, “I come from Calicut in Kerala that stands out in Indian history as a place that never backs down from a war. I respect my opponent for his achievements, sacrifices and abilities, but at the end of the day I will walk into the ring and prove that as a fighter, I am the better one.”
Though he and his team have kept his fight camp under wraps, he is expected to announce more details in the coming days. It is expected that he will use his signature offensive strategy early on to the fight, but Muneer is also a submission artist who loves to decimate opponents in a ground game. As the fight night draws closer, Calicut is embracing its hero in his quest to take Indian MMA to new heights.
