Conor McGregor’s mic skills, his persona and his fighting skills have made him one of the biggest stars in the UFC history. The Notorious is also one of the richest MMA fighters on the planet and arguably the highest paid UFC fighter of all time. But one never imagined he would end up on the Forbes magazine 100 richest athletes so soon.
According to McGregor’s claim, he was paid whooping check of $10 million for his loss against against Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
Recently in 2015, Ronda Rousey had almost made it to the list but just fell short. Nonetheless, she did manage to fall into the rank of the top highest paid female athletes according to dailystar.co.uk.
Brock Lesnar’s return to the Octagon at UFC 200 may readdress these records, but McGregor has mentioned in the past that he has bettered Lesnar’s previous records in several spheres.
To this Brock Lesnar responded that he doesn’t care and also goes on to admit that the McGregor has been great for the UFC.
