Calling out popular fighters in combat sports has been a trend well respected by the hungry athletes. UFC’s 24-year-old young attraction Mickey Gall clobbered CM Punk at UFC 203 and followed it with something unexpected.
He took the mic ou of the blue and called out ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt for a fight. The young lads were hand picked by Dana White after witnessing their outstanding performances at lower level promotions on the ‘Dana White: Looking for a Fight’ YouTube show.
The Northcutt family didn’t delay in responding to Gall’s open challenge. After UFC 203, White admitted having received a call from Northcutt’s dad accepting the fight. Ever since UFC 203, the two stars have gone back and forth at each other building up the rivalry well.

The heat didn’t die down but continued as Northcutt mocked his level of competition, stating that Gall is ‘fighting someone’s dad that has trained very little for the fight’.
Later, both fighters took a shot at each other’s hairstyles and the online mockery seems to have led to a bet-
Though it sounds very amusing and the idea of shaving off the loser’s hair would be a brilliant gimmick to sell tickets, the idea of having a WWE-style stipulation to the fight would be something out of the box for the sport.
However, the bet can obviously take place outside the Octagon, only if the loser of the fight has the will to get his hair shaved off.
The Hair match is a popular gimmick match in the WWE. The most popular hair shaving segment was Donald Trump shaving off Vince McMahon’s hair at WrestleMania 23.
