In today's issue, we talk about the United States Embassy refusing to help Andrew Tate, Dana White's feelings about Jon Jones' sole UFC loss, and more.

#3 U.S. Embassy refuses to help Andrew Tate with prison time

As per the latest ruling by the Romanian court, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate will have to stay in jail for another month. Although several rumors of Tate being "falsely accused" are making the rounds on the internet, guilt or innocence is yet to be proven.

Seasoned celebrity lawyer Tina Glandian is currently representing Tate. She recently appeared on Patrick Bet-David's podcast and revealed that she had reached out to the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest for help and was turned down.

"Who I did call when I was in Bucharest was the U.S. embassy to see if I could get assistance with this. But they pretty much just differed me to my Romanian Council and said that I have to work with them and follow the procedure that they recommend. Ultimately, they weren't really much help in me trying to achieve that."

Glandian agreed with Bet-David that had it been any other U.S. citizen and not Tate, the Embassy would be more helpful.

#2 Conor McGregor and Stephen Thompson mentoring TUF rookies

Conor McGregor is enjoying his return to action and looks sharp as ever playing the part of a coach in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. He has enlisted the help of Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson as well.

In a recently uploaded video, the Irishman let his followers take a glimpse into one of his mentoring sessions. The two karate sensations of MMA were seen working together as McGregor demonstrated his signature left hook technique to the TUF participants.

It seems like both teams are stacking up MMA A-listers, which is bound to make the season more interesting. Michael Chandler has already brought in Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader as his assistant coach.

One wonders if 'Wonderboy' will play a similar role to McGregor.

#1 Dana White regrets not being able to overturn Jon Jones' sole MMA loss

Despite all the lapses Jon Jones has had over the years, Dana White is among the ones who consider him one of the greatest ever to do it in MMA. Like many others, he considers the one loss 'Bones' has on his resume to be null and void.

In 2009, Matt Hamill became the only fighter to ever defeat Jon Jones despite getting dominated the whole fight, thanks to a decision by referee Steve Mazzagatti that is controversial to date.

White has long tried to remove the loss from Jones' MMA record but has failed to do so. He opened up on it in a recent appearance on The Jim Rowe Show while speaking highly of Jones' portfolio:

"Look at all the people that he [Jon Jones] has fought. He has never lost a fight. It kills me that one [loss] is on his record... The referee in there stopped the fight and called Jones the loser in that fight, a fight he was dominating and should have been finished. Instead of disqualifying Jones, they should have stopped the fight and Jones right now should be 27-0."

Jon Jones is currently 26-1-1 in MMA. The No Contest came against bitter rival Daniel Cormier because of his positive test despite having won the fight via knockout. Jones has recently buried his hatchet with 'DC', and the latter will even commentate on his upcoming title fight against Ciryl Gane.
