#3. UFC Hall of Famer claims complacency could land Alex Pereira in trouble against Israel Adesanya
Daniel Cormier recently chimed in on Alex Pereira's confidence heading into his UFC 281 title fight against Israel Adesanya. Given that Pereira has two previous kickboxing wins over Adesanya, 'DC' wondered if 'Poatan' might be taking the champ lightly.

The way Cormier sees it, confidence isn't a bad thing when it comes to fighting. However, he cautioned Pereira to not be reckless. During an episode of ESPN's DC & RC show, the former two-division champ said:
"I think it's a great thing to be confident but you also have to recognize, it's a different sport. The four-ounce gloves Ryan, it's thudding. Like I've sparred with my 12 ounces, with my 16 ounces, and you get hit and you are less aware because it doesn't hurt as bad. But the moment you get hit with that four ounce glove, you're like, 'Oh, this is real'... There's just so many differences in fighting inside the octagon."

#2. Chael Sonnen dismisses proposed Sean O'Malley vs. Henry Cejudo interim title fight
Chael Sonnen isn't in favor of a potential interim title clash between Sean O'Malley and Henry Cejudo.
Cejudo has been pushing for an interim title fight against 'Sugar' Sean ever since bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling revealed that he will take a break until June. However, Sonnen doesn't see the logic behind involving an interim title as Sterling isn't injured:
"If 'Aljo' is not going to be here for a while and we do have to get on with it, okay fine, 'Sugar' Sean versus Henry would be very interesting for the interim belt, but is that the spot that we're at? I can't tell you I'd like to see that fight... unless I know 'Aljo' is, in fact, out.

#1. Cain Velasquez out of prison on bail
After spending eight months in jail, former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez is finally a free man – or at least for the time being.
Velasquez, who was charged with attempted murder and multiple gun-related charges, was granted bail on Tuesday by Judge Arthur Bocanegra. This comes after the retired fighter shot at a vehicle that was containing Harry Goularte – a man who was accused of molesting Velasquez's four-year-old son.
Velasquez will have to wear a GPS tracker and not come within 300 yards of the alleged victims in the case, per Velasquez's attorney, Mark Geragos.
