Tito Ortiz has clearly not been able to bury the past when it comes to Chael Sonnen. The feud between Ortiz and Sonnen started back when the pair wrestled each other in college but ahead of their fight at Bellator, Sonnen aimed some nasty trash talk at Ortiz which he hasn't been able to forget till date.
Although Ortiz had the last laugh when they fought, managing to submit Sonnen via first round submission in the main event at Bellator 170, there is still no love lost between the pair.
Ortiz still hates Sonnen
At a recent interaction with the media ahead of his fight against Alberto Del Rio at Combate Americas, Ortiz said that he dislikes Sonnen as a person. (h/t MMA Fighting)

“Chael Sonnen. That guy he just. I dislike that man. He is someone who talks and talks and talks and has never done anything in this sport besides talk. That’s what he does for a living. He should’ve stayed to that and I guess he is staying to it [since] he’s retired now."
Ortiz said that Sonnen over-stepped the line when he talked about his family.
“He said some very personal things about me and I’m a very emotional man, I’m a very loyal man, and when you talk about a person’s family I take it to heart. It’s my blood and I kind of let him have it a little bit. If people go on YouTube and watch Tito Ortiz Uncaged, he said a couple things about me and was talking about me putting on my championship belt and I had to let him have it, full bore. It wasn’t just a little, it was full bore. I put him out for who he really was and he never said another word about me.”
'Admit you tapped' - says the outspoken Sonnen
Staying true to his outspoken persona, Sonnen took a dig at Ortiz in response to the latter's comments by saying that he tapped to Sonnen before countering with a submission manoeuvre of his own.
