Ciryl Gane garnered a mix of fan reactions from MMA fans in a recent video. In his most recent endeavor, 'Bon Gamin' allowed an onlooking fan — who turned out to be an amateur MMA fighter — to take three light body shots from the heavyweight that he fully absorbed.

Idriss Altidor, an amateur featherweight, released a video of the interaction on his social media. Altidor is a 1-1 Belgian fighter who has posted numerous videos of himself taking body shots from different people.

In the caption of his original post, Altidor thanked Gane for participating in the video and acknowledged that the 34-year-old restrained from giving his best shot on a smaller and defenseless man.

Regardless of Altidor's MMA experience, fans were critical of Gane in the video for not even causing a flinch due to the size discrepancy. One user said the video gave the former interim champion a negative "aura" by commenting:

"-1000 aura"

Another fan suggested that Altidor attempt a similar stunt by absorbing leg kicks from Alex Pereira, commenting:

"Now try three kicks from @AlexPereiraUFC"

Gane did not appear to care that he did not fold Altidor, instead laughing and shaking the fighter's hand after delivering three blows.

Others commented:

"Hold up. Bros a wall"
"I bet real money on this guy to beat Jon Jones"
"Bro those punches looked like s***"

Is Ciryl Gane filming a movie?

As fans await Ciryl Gane's return to the UFC, the former interim heavyweight champion has insisted that his hiatus has been due to his obligations in the film industry. Since last beating Sergei Spivac at UFC France, 'Bon Gamin' has reportedly accepted a role in a movie being filmed in 2024.

Per his IMDb page, Gane is expected to have a part in 'Den of Thieves 2: Pantera' expected to be released in January 2025. It is unclear if this is the sole movie Gane has been a part of in 2024 or if he has been working on other projects.

In his tweet response to criticism from Tom Aspinall, Gane claimed that he would fight the interim champion in September, giving reason to believe he will conclude his filming in the summer.
