MMA fans have been reacting to a clip of Jon Anik, which shows the UFC commentator chugging a beer as Daniel Cormier and Paul Felder cheer him on at the recent Power Slap 9 event.
Anik, 'DC' and Felder are currently out in Abu Dhabi as they prepare to cover the UFC 308 card this weekend. Prior to pay-per-view, however, the trio were treated to front row seats to Power Slap 9, which also took place in Abu Dhabi.
The event marked the first international card for Dana White's Power Slap promotion and was deemed a success, as the card delivered an exciting night of action. UFC fans were also treated to a surprise, as midway through the night the camera cut to Anik. The commentator then opted to chug his beer as he was cheered on by Cormier and Felder.

Jon Anik wants to see Belal Muhammad vs. Kamaru Usman
Jon Anik recently revealed he wants to see Kamaru Usman once again challenge for the welterweight title, with hopes he will soon face Belal Muhammad in the octagon.
'The Nigerian Nightmare' was once one of the most dominant champions in the UFC, racking up five welterweight title defenses whilst he was at the top of the division. Since then, however, Usman has suffered three defeats in a row, coming up short against Leon Edwards twice before losing a short-notice middleweight clash against Khamzat Chimaev.
Anik then discussed his hopes for Usman's future during a recent appearance on his Pound 4 Pound podcast. According to the commentator, a potential clash between Usman and Muhammad is one of his most anticipated fights for 2025. He said:
"Despite what a lot of people think, Belal Muhammad isn’t calling the shots when it comes to a date. And I will say this. If any fighter with a couple of red stripes on his Wikipedia page of late deserves to fight for the belt, it is ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ [Kamaru Usman]."
