Raul Rosas Jr. lived up to the hype as he dominantly defeated Jay Perrin via first-round submission at UFC 282.
He is not only the youngest ever fighter to be signed by the UFC, but 'El Nino Problema' also boasts a perfect record of 7-0-0 in his MMA career so far. After his debut win, the youngster now claims he is ready to fight again just seven days after his last fight.
In a recent interview with TMZSports, Rosas Jr. was asked when he saw himself stepping into the octagon again. The Mexican-American replied:
"I think I was able to come out the same way that I stepped in, which was with no injuries. So thankfully, I feel good and hopefully, I'm talking to my manager... I'll fight this weekend at the UFC Apex... I know this is still going on, hopefully I can step in at 135 or 145 [Pounds]... Hopefully I can fight this weekend."

It is expected that the UFC will slow-track the youngster so as not to burn him out earlier than usual.
With his impressive debut win and his achievements at such a young age, Raul Rosas Jr. has also grabbed the attention of superstars like Conor McGregor, who heaped praise on the 18-year-old MMA prodigy.

Michael Bisping blames Conor McGregor for influencing young fighters like Raul Rosas Jr. to talk "big game"
Michael Bisping did not seem to be on board with Raul Rosas Jr. seemingly calling for a title shot just after his debut at UFC 282 and 'The Count' blamed Conor McGregor for influencing the 18-year-old's brash confidence.
In an apparent attempt to capitalize on his momentum, 'El Nino Problema' recently claimed that he could beat Aljamain Sterling for the bantamweight title if given a shot.

While Raul Rosas Jr. is exceptionally skilled for his age, 'El Nino Problema' might be asking for more than he can handle. With just seven professional fights under his belt, it seems too much of a reach to believe he could defeat Sterling.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Believe You Me podcast, Michael Bisping spoke about how McGregor's rise to the top and brash personality has influenced the likes of Raul Rosas Jr. 'The Count' stated:
"It's this new trend, and Conor McGregor is responsible for it... He came in, he talked a ridiculously big game, and he backed it up every single second of the way. Now it seems everybody does that... You're eighteen... Be quitely confident. But don't after having one fight against Jay Perrin be calling out the champion of the world and making it sound like it's going to be easy work."
