American pop sensation Ariana Grande recently cut a hilarious promo for the upcoming UFC 308 during her appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL). The fight fans have since been left with mixed feelings.
This week on SNL, Grande made light-hearted jibes at MMA and the UFC in a promotional segment for the upcoming pay-per-view. While mimicking fellow musician Celine Dion, she poked fun at the sport's brutal nature, referencing concussions and other injuries.
Despite the celebrity endorsement, the segment's comedic take on the UFC has been met with mixed reactions from fight fans. Many viewers found Grande's humor hard to enjoy, while others were elated by it.

UFC 308 is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The event will be headlined by the much-awaited featherweight title clash between reigning champion Ilia Topuria and the current BMF title holder Max Holloway.
The event also offers a banger of a co-headliner, pitting middleweight titans Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev against each other.
MMA pros predict UFC 308 main event
The featherweight title clash between Max Holloway and Ilia Topuria is easily one of the most anticipated fights this year and even MMA pros have shared their predictions.
Speaking to mixed martial arts journalist James Lynch, surging lightweight contender Diego Lopez acknowledged Holloway's past trouble with shorter opponents but expressed his confidence in 'Blessed's' experience, giving him the edge in the upcoming fight.
Perennial welterweight contender Neil Magny stated that he would never pick against Holloway in a fight.
Meanwhile, lightweight Evan Elder believes 'El Matador' will get the job done. As per him, it would be almost impossible for Holloway to avoid the champion's power punches for five rounds.
